"I can’t even begin to thank you enough for the life you have given back to me. I had fibromyalgia so bad I was frequently off from work and you could barely touch me on the adjustment table. I had chronic lower back pain, neck pain, left shoulder pain, and headaches involving the entire left side of my face and skull.

Following my car accident in 1995 and year-long PT, my physiatrist finally told me that this was as good as was going to get. I would have to learn to live with chronic pain for the rest of my life. I only had trigger points in the upper left side of my body, which the physiatrist had called myofascial pain syndrome. He also prepared me for the eventuality of developing fibromyalgia throughout my body. I learned to live with it. I took Flexeril sometimes three times a day, always OTC pain killers at regular intervals, Ultracet and frequent Tylenol #3 to help me sleep.

I was still on this regimen when a dear friend told me that specific chiropractic could help just by working with the top two bones in my neck. Needless to say, I was skeptical…even after Dr. Rak’s enthusiastic explanation. But I gave it a try.
I began to feel better but sometimes, I hurt worse leaving your office than when I came in - but that was early in the treatment process. Soon, I was able to stop taking Flexeril. Next, I was able to stop the scheduled OTC painkillers.
